Note:

Only iPads with both WiFi and 4G have eSIM technology integrated.

EsimCheap provides eSIMs for each country and eSIMs by region. The “activating” line shows that you have not been to the country that the eSIM supports even though the installation was successful.

This error message usually occurs due to some common reasons as follows:

You are not in a country where eSIM is covered, so the eSIM cannot receive the signal of the supported network operator and cannot be activated. The solution is to restart the device, then go to Settings > Mobile Networks to check if the eSIM is on your device. If it is, please DO NOT DELETE. When landing in a supported country, the eSIM will catch the first mobile signal there and work normally. Note that you need to follow the activation steps attached to the package from the eSIM provider. Some countries require sending a text message to activate the package.
The Internet quality is unstable, so the installation and activation process cannot be completed. In that case, check and make sure the Internet source (can be WiFi or mobile data) is not interrupted.
